Sea Lavender
This is an image of Sea Lavendar which is an endangered coastal plant that is found in South Florida, the Caribbean and Central America.
It flowers most of the year with a peak bloom during the winter.
The flowers open white and turn pink on any one branch the flowers will range from pink to white.
The species name, gnaphalodes is from the Greek gnaphalon, meaning a “lock of wool.”
It has Fuzzy leaves which protect the plant from both sun and salt spray.
The status of this plant is Endangered
